How to Cancel Netflix in France

French consumer law (Code de la consommation, Article L221-18) grants a 14-day cooling-off period for online subscriptions. The Hamon Law (Loi Hamon) of 2014 further strengthened consumer rights, allowing easier cancellation of ongoing contracts after the initial commitment period.

Steps to Cancel Netflix
Go to netflix.com and sign in to your account
Click your profile icon in the top right corner
Select 'Account' from the dropdown menu
Click 'Cancel Membership' under the Membership & Billing section
Confirm by clicking 'Finish Cancellation'
You'll receive a confirmation email β save it for your records
Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad
Tap your name at the top β Subscriptions
Find and tap Netflix
Tap 'Cancel Subscription' and confirm
Note: This only works if you subscribed through Apple
Open the Google Play Store app
Tap your profile icon β Payments & subscriptions β Subscriptions
Select Netflix
Tap 'Cancel subscription' and follow the prompts
