1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using SubscripKiller ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

SubscripKiller is a tool that helps you identify recurring subscription charges in your bank statements and provides direct cancellation links. The Service operates on a freemium model:

  • Free tier: Upload and scan your statement to see a summary of found subscriptions (total count, estimated annual spend, number of hard-to-cancel services).
  • Paid tier (€5 one-time): Unlock the full list of detected subscriptions with direct cancel links, cancel difficulty ratings, and a shareable report.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use the Service only for its intended purpose of identifying personal subscription charges
  • Not upload files containing malicious code or content
  • Not attempt to reverse-engineer, disassemble, or modify the Service
  • Not use automated tools to scrape or overload the Service
  • Not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

4. Accuracy and Limitations

Best-effort matching: SubscripKiller identifies subscriptions by matching merchant names in your bank statement against a database of known subscription services. This process is heuristic-based and may:

  • Miss subscriptions not in our database or with unusual merchant names
  • Occasionally match a non-subscription transaction as a subscription (false positive)
  • Estimate amounts or frequencies that differ from actual billing

Cancel links: We provide direct links to cancellation pages maintained by third-party services. We do not guarantee that these links will always be current or functional, as service providers may change their cancellation processes at any time.

The Service is provided as an informational aid. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of results and making your own decisions about which subscriptions to cancel.

5. Payment and Refunds

The full report unlock is a one-time payment of €5 (or equivalent in your local currency, inclusive of applicable VAT). Payment is processed by our third-party payment provider.

Refund policy: If the Service fails to identify any subscriptions in a valid bank statement, you may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase by contacting us at molly@lynote.ai. Refund requests based on the number or accuracy of detected subscriptions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and trademarks associated with SubscripKiller are our intellectual property. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service without prior written consent.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely accurate. We are not responsible for any financial decisions you make based on information provided by the Service.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SubscripKiller and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union and the applicable member state where the service operator is established. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
